Entrepreneurial Innovation: new book combines the innovation power of techno starters, SMEs, and corporate companies

Written by Holland Innovative | Aug 30, 2022 9:21:36 AM

Author Ivo Aarninkhof shows, thanks to his extensive practical experience in business and as a volunteer, the untapped opportunities for innovative entrepreneurship.

Every entrepreneur wants to bring their innovation successfully to the market. But why are 90% of the initiatives failing? Why is it still so difficult to get an innovative idea to maturity? And how does this work specifically for techno startups, SMEs, and corporate companies?

Ivo Aarninkhof uses his experience in all those branches of entrepreneurship to create a roadmap that has value for innovations among startups, SMEs, and large corporations. To bring those three giants together as a "Trias Entrepreneurias," Aarninkhof builds a foundation with elements such as the Voice of the Customer and basic risk management.

The uniqueness of this book lies in the way the hard management aspects are combined with soft characteristics, which Aarninkhof also draws from the world of volunteering. It is precisely by bringing these seemingly separate worlds together that the author creates a very welcome new voice into the theories of innovation and change management. In doing so, he shows how a well-thought-out methodology can be used to take crucial steps toward bringing innovations to the marketplace in a better and more reliable way. The book makes the reader think about their own motives and offers new insights to innovate differently. But it also shows how important the "culture of volunteering" is for successful innovations.

Aarninkhof: "My hope is that this book will give you more time next to your work as an innovator, project leader, civil servant or entrepreneur to volunteer for society and your loved ones. It is the combination of all these factors that will help us move forward as a society and create a bright and innovative future for our children and grandchildren."

Ivo Aarninkhof (1974) is a father and husband; he is educated as an engineer and business administrator. For many years he worked for Philips, all over the world. Since 2011, Aarninkhof has been an entrepreneur and involved in innovation and project management in Medtech and high-tech. He is also passionately committed as a volunteer. He is co-owner of Holland Innovative.
